The Shed Defender® Recovery Onesie is a comfortable, vet-recommended alternative to the traditional medical cone for dogs recovering from surgery, spay/neuter procedures, hot spots, allergies, skin irritation, minor wounds, and other covered recovery areas.

Designed with full underbelly coverage, the Recovery Onesie helps create a soft protective barrier to reduce licking, biting, and scratching around common recovery areas while allowing your dog to move, rest, and heal more comfortably. Unlike a bulky cone, it lets dogs eat, drink, sleep, walk, and relax without the added stress of restricted visibility or movement.

Made with our premium, eco-friendly, lightweight 4-way stretch fabric, the Recovery Onesie is soft, breathable, and comfortable for recovery wear. The snug fit helps keep the suit in place and may also help some dogs feel calmer and more secure during the healing process.

The Recovery Onesie includes a protective zipper flap, so the zipper does not come in direct contact with your dog’s skin or recovery site. It is also potty-friendly, with an underbelly zipper that allows for bathroom breaks without fully removing the suit.

Potty-Friendly Design

The zipper runs underneath from the chest to the base of the tail, so you do not need to fully remove the onesie for potty breaks. Simply unzip as needed, then zip back up when finished.

We offer FREE SHIPPING for U.S. orders that are over $60. All orders are shipped same day or the following day via USPS First Class mail. Shipping takes 2-4 business days and you will be emailed tracking information once your order is shipped.

International orders are shipped within 1-2 business days via DHL or USPS for $14.99 - $19.99 USD. Shipping times vary and while it typically takes 8-15 business days, it can take up to 20 business days to arrive depending on the destination. Tracking can be limited depending on destination. Shipping is Non-refundable.

Free Returns or Exchanges for U.S. Orders: We provide pre-paid shipping labels for returns and exchanges for all U.S. orders within 30 days of when the product was delivered. If purchased through another retailer, please contact that retailer directly.

For us to complete the return or exchange, the returned product must be in the same condition as when it was received (new condition) which means unaltered, undamaged and free of any dog hair, dirt, stains or tears. If the product received is not clean, we will charge a $5 cleaning fee per item. To avoid the cleaning fee, please turn it inside out (keep unzipped) and wash it by itself (care instructions on label). If the product is altered, damaged, stained or cannot be cleaned then it will not be eligible for a return or exchange.

- We offer incredibly fast exchanges: your new order will be sent out as soon as it is dropped off and accepted at the post office.
- For returns, please allow 5-7 days once delivered to be inspected and refunded.
