February 2019 - The San Diego Humane Society is known across California for the great work it does saving animals from risk of euthanasia. In 2019, they are expecting to care for over 50,000 animals! The organization provides a long list of services – from microchipping, spay & neuter, vaccinations and more. They also have a Project Wildlife program which cares for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and helps them return safely back into their natural habitats. Last year they cared for over 11,000 wild animals including owls, ducks, rabbits, raccoons and hummingbirds.

We’ve participated in a couple of the San Diego Humane Society’s events in the past which is why we can vouch for the great work they do. We decided to make a donation to them and designate them as our February Paw it Forward partner so that we can spread the word about the great work they’ve done and encourage our community to donate and support this great organization. If you’re in the San Diego area, they’re always looking for volunteers, otherwise donations are a great way to send support.
