This year has been anything but normal and it has non-profit organizations from all industries scrambling to replace big annual in-person fundraisers with virtual and online events. And that includes animal shelters and rescue groups that have fur mouths to feed! That’s why when Wags & Walks, a Los Angeles-based non-profit that we’ve supported in previous years, told us they had to make the tough decision to pivot their annual gala to a virtual event this year we decided to support the event with a donation and provide product for their virtual auction.
The auction launches on August 26th in conjunction with National Dog Day and runs through September 2 to give online users a chance to bid on dozens of amazing items including a gift bag from Shed Defender that includes a leash and a onesie!
Wags & Walks is dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned dogs – providing them with a safe place until they find a loving furever home. They are a donation-based organization that relies on events such as their annual gala to raise enough funds to continue housing and caring for animals in need. With that in mind, we invite our community to check out the amazing items available through the Wags & Walks auction. One of the prizes is an amazing LA stay-cation at the Luxe Hotel that includes lunch and dinner at one of LA’s hottest Italian restaurants.
Donations and bids of all sizes are so important especially this year as 2020 continues to throw out curve balls. Let’s rally together to make sure that animals in need can still get the love and care they deserve!
